Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist currently competing in the flyweight division in the UFC. Valentina is her younger sister and a fellow UFC competitors. Antonina Shevchenko, who is a Muay Thai boxer started her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 followed by an award of bronze in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muaythai Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia started her professional career in 2003 and took home her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by unanimous vote. After leaving the league in 2018, Shevchenko was a part of Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11.
